Cup Lids & Bottle Tops: Help The Kids!

Please send all bottle caps and coffee cup lids to Ms. Keeley in S4! Not only will you be saving the planet, - you will also be helping kickstart a series of activities in Primary. Using your donations, the children will produce a series of small bottle cap and larger coffee lid animals. 

With even minimal help, you can help decorate the Hartland walls with friendly faces, and save plastics from the inevitable fate of landfills or downcycling. Did you know plastic can only really be recycled twice at best, the plastic used in plastic wraps and bags is not recyclable at all, and the process, as inefficient as it is, also greatly pollutes air and water quality? 

Keeping this in mind, we would also like to tease lid collection boxes coming very very soon. Keep your eyes open!
