An Update from the Charity Committee

The Charitee committee made some fantastic contributions in Term 1. We have raised more than 44,000 dirhams only from Pink Day! This was a fantastic beginning to the year that truly paved the way for other fundraising initiatives in Hartland. The secondary team of the charity committee organized bracelet-making workshops for primary school students in honor of National Day. The bracelets were made for Union Day and sold with 260 dirhams of the proceeds going to the Dubai Cares ‘Students for Students’ program. As part of the organization, pupils are urged to organize fundraising activities during the academic year as part of this program in order to generate funds for school kits for disadvantaged kids in the United Arab Emirates. In terms of fundraising, this term has been a lovely beginning to what could be a successful year.
